Case Study - Leading Private Bank

ICICI Bank is a large private bank with a very diverse products portfolio. Home loan is the largest contributor to the Mortgages Portfolio. They were using multiple channels to source home loan business and needed to expand the online channel to source leads from lead referrers who are not end users.

The home loan business was sourced through multiple channels including Outbound (DMA, counsellors), Inbound (branches), and Online (website, SMS, email, call center). The bank identified a new Online channel for sourcing leads, viz. professionals like CAs and property brokers and were looking for a solution to enable them to engage better with this channel.

Product Enhancement

As you must be aware, ad-tech industry is moving away from browser cookie based server targeting, there is a growing concern of stopping privacy implications from blocking data collection with cookies and pixels and we are seeing constant development of Intelligent Ad Tracking Prevention (ITP) systems (browsers phasing out third-party data entirely).

However the relief has come in with Conversion API from Facebook that allows advertisers to send web events from their servers directly to Facebook by following the methodology below:

  • Server events are linked to a pixel and are processed like browser pixel events. This means that server events are used in measurement, reporting, and optimization in the same way as browser pixel events.
  • This also enables full funnel visibility when used in conjunction with the pixel and places the control with you on what data to share
